Taryn L. Mead, L.M.F.T.

I am a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT 93366) providing therapy in private practice in Los Angeles. Currently, I am working remotely on a secure online platform.  Previously, I worked in private practice office settings as well as community counseling centers serving individuals, couples, children, teens, families, and groups since 2010. I was trained at the Maple Counseling Center in Beverly Hills where I gained a strong psychodynamic foundation and became a certified crisis counselor.  Currently an affiliate of The Los Angeles Institute and Society for Psychoanalytic Studies, I continue to grow and learn having completed both the Trauma Studies, and Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy programs. 

 

I hold a Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology with an emphasis in Marriage and Family Therapy from Pepperdine University, and I earned a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of California, Los Angeles.
